When Dr. Kurti first came to Western North Carolina, he saw something simple and important: families in our mountain communities deserved dependable, high-quality orthodontic care close to home. In those early days, orthodontic services in Franklin and the surrounding area were limited, and many families had to wait or travel to get the care they needed. Dr. Kurti came because there was a need, and he stayed because he loved the people, the mountains, and the chance to build something lasting here.
His philosophy has always been pretty straightforward. Put patients first, take care of the team, use good tools, and keep learning. Over the years, that has meant gentle treatment, careful diagnosis, newer technology when it truly helps, and a practice where patients are treated like neighbors, because that is what they are. Some of our patients are just getting started with us, while others are bringing in the next generation of their family. Either way, the goal is the same: a healthy, confident smile and a good experience along the way.
And yes, about the picture. If you have ever wondered what Dr. Kurti does when he is not moving teeth, sometimes he is moving dirt. Orthodontics may call for small tools and careful adjustments, but around here we know he appreciates the bigger tools too.
