Carol KurtiCo-Founder/Practice Partner

Carol Kurti has been part of Kurti Orthodontics from the very beginning. As co-founder of the practice, she helped establish what would become a trusted orthodontic practice serving families throughout the region.

Carol Kurti has been part of Kurti Orthodontics since the very beginning. A registered nurse by training, she worked at Loma Linda University Hospital and served with Dr. Kurti as a medical missionary in Guam before the practice was established. In the early years she helped shape the welcoming, family-centered atmosphere that patients still experience today.

Carol attended Andrews University from 1964 to 1968 and trained in nursing at Hinsdale Hospital School of Nursing, earning her nursing certificate in 1968. During the years Dr. Kurti was completing dental and orthodontic training at Loma Linda University, Carol worked as a registered nurse at the university hospital. Between those programs, the couple served as medical missionaries in Guam, where their sons, Steve and Chad, were born.

In the early years, Carol played an active role in the practice, helping create the warm, personal atmosphere that patients and families came to know. Her perspective is woven into the history of the office, from its earliest growth to the long-term relationships that have shaped the practice over the decades.

With a deep connection to both the practice and the community it serves, Carol remains an important part of Kurti Orthodontics—steady, personal, and rooted in caring for people well.
