Long before Brittany Sims joined the Kurti Orthodontics team, she was one of its patients. She remembers loving her appointments and the confidence she gained from improving her smile—an experience that eventually inspired her to help create that same feeling for others. Brittany joined the practice in June 2024 and now serves in several roles, working as an orthodontic assistant and receptionist, helping with ordering, and pursuing additional clinical certifications.

Brittany especially enjoys the relationships that grow through seeing patients regularly throughout treatment. She loves watching someone’s face light up at the end of a smile transformation, and she appreciates being part of a team that feels more like family than a group of coworkers. Her experience on both sides of the chair also gives her one particularly heartfelt piece of advice for patients: wear your rubber bands!

Buy the pit tickets to the concert! I’ve done that every time I’ve gone, and it has always been worth it.

The relationships I’ve built with my coworkers. They aren’t just coworkers anymore; they’re family. I could reach out to anyone in this office, and they would be there for me in a split second.

If I could instantly master any skill, it would be…
I want to be a “yeehaw meemaw”! That is someone who crochets, cans food, gardens, and tackles her own home-renovation projects.
